About Sarah and Calliope
This is the blog of Calliope editor Sarah Fisher (that’s me, writing in third person – so obnoxious). Calliope is a literary e-zine dedicated to publishing the work of our readers, and committed to providing a forum for honest feedback.
I am the non-fiction editor of Calliope, among other duties. I’m a magazine and website writer in California, so as the resident journalist, this seems most fitting. I really love a well-written article about literature, movies, life, love, and more besides. So next time you want to contemplate what women really want, write it down, send it to me and I’ll see if I like it. (Here’s a hint. Two words: puppies and chocolate. It really is that simple.)
I’m in my mid-twenties, and I live in Calabasas, California. But I hail from England. People out here just adore my accent. They also love speaking to me in mock-British. This doesn’t please me.
This is me looking pensive and thoughtful at work. Don’t I look smart?
Check out the blog of my fellow lead editor, Crystal Crawford, here.

And don’t forget to check out the magazine! Calliope: Voice of the Writers. We publish short stories, poetry, interviews with authors, competitions, the great Novel Race of 2008, and more besides on the 15th of each month. Send us your work, and get involved with the message board and interactive writing experience, Wiki-lliope!
